Alice Ann (Edwards) McClain passed away Thursday morning, December 28, 2017. Ann was born in Alabama, raised by her aunt and uncle. She moved with her family to Kansas City, Kansas, where she met Jerry. Ann and Jerry were married on April 29, 1963.

She spent her life raising her two daughters, Candy McClain and Lisa (Dennis) McCrary. She was a hard worker, keeping house and working outside. She worked alongside Jerry helping with the newest project.

Her pride and joy were her four granddaughters: Corinne Welch, Jessica (Brandon Himbury) McCrary, Laura McCrary, and Janie Welch. She was blessed with four great-grandchildren: Callan Earnest, Maddox and Owen Himbury, and Hazel Henke.

Ann was strong in her faith and found solace in her relationship with Christ. She enjoyed quilting and was a bit of a history buff.

We are honoring her wishes of cremation with no formal service.
