Betty L. Lasater, 86, Cameron, MO, passed away on January 16, 2021, at Redwood Care Center in Cameron.

She was born in Koshkonong, MO, to Joe Ball, Sr., and to Ellen (Stuart) Ball.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister-Dorothy Wilson; sister-Jean Talton; brother-Joe Ball, Jr., first husband-Dale Chambers; and second husband-Milton Lasater.

She is survived by four children-Barbara Carpenter-Cameron, MO; Michael (Ann) Lasater, Smithville, MO; Michelle (Scott) Turner, Temple, TX; and Patrick (Susan) Lasater, Lenexa, KS; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Betty loved to write poetry, draw and paint.  She was very proud that all of her children had good jobs and happy lives.

She will be missed by all who knew her.  One comment that made us smile was one of her caregivers said she would always remember "Miss Betty" as feisty.

Graveside Service and Interment:  1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the Lick Fork Cemetery, Gallatin, MO.
