Carol Joyce Moore, 78, Hamilton, MO, passed away on November 7, 2022, at the Northcare Hospice House, North Kansas City, MO.  She previously lived in Kidder, MO.

Carol was born on April 12, 1944, in Gallatin, MO, to Clifford C. and Nellie (Bythe) Calhoun.  She graduated from high school in Gallatin, and married Earl Moore on January 14, 1962.  He preceded her in death on March 18, 2015.  Carol was a homemaker.

Sewing, cooking, following her grandchildren and their sporting events, and spending time with her family were things she loved to do.

Carol was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant son in 1963-Alan Ray Moore, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors:  5 children-Lisa (Larry) Parton, Cameron, MO; Vicki Townsend, Hamilton; David Moore (LeAnne Courtney), Stewartsville, MO; Gary (Stacy) Moore, Hamilton; Sherri Moore, Hamilton; 8 grandchildren-Christine Blakley, Cody Blakley (Kayla), Sean Townsend, Kylie Moore, Kassadie Moore, Gunnar Moore, Chris Moore, and Nicholas Moore; 7 great-grandchildren-Mya Richey, Hope and Faith Battelle, Emma Moore, Isabelle Moore, Riley Cooper, and Forrest Blakley; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service:  11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Hamilton Baptist Church.

Visitation:  10 a.m., until service time on Saturday, November 12, at the church.

Interment:  The Kidder Cemetery, Kidder, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Northcare Hospice House,  NKC, MO.
