Carole Ann Lewis, 76, Hamilton, MO, passed away at her home on November 30, 2021.  She moved to Hamilton in 1998.

Carole was born on May 22, 1945, in Richmond, MO.  She was a homemaker.  In her spare time she enjoyed camping, fishing, baking and doing pottery and plastic canvas crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents-Vernon and Maybelle (Nichols) Whelchel, husbands-Charlie Potts and Darwin Lewis; grandson-Gary Heldstab; her sisters- Peggy, Ella and Patty; and her brother, Billy.

Survivors:  Children-Billy Ailshire, Cameron, MO; Lillie Ann Hillsman, Oregon; and Darwin Lewis, Hamilton; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother-Vernon Whelchel, and sisters-Virginia and Janice.

Cremation entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
