D. Scott Burkhart, 46, Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on November 3, 2012, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Missouri.
Scott was born on November 22, 1965, in Riverside, California, to Raymond John and Beverly Ann Vincent Burkhart. He had attended school in Delmar and Colonie, New York. He had served our country in the Navy and Marines for eight years. He had worked in Chillicothe, Missouri, at Graves Meat as a meat processor. He had also formerly worked at Landmark in Gallatin, Missouri.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandmother, Genevieve Vincent.
On November 22, 2000, he married Kathy Morgan in Gallatin, Missouri. She survives of the home.
Additional Survivors: Parents, Raymond "Skip" and Beverly Burkhart, Ocklawaha, Florida; Brother, Jeffrey David (Amy) Burkhart, Albany, New York; Daughter, Sharra Pollard, Independence, Missouri; three grandchildren, Kadin, Jacob, and Clayton; and other numerous family members and friends.
The body has been cremated under the direction of Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
Celebration of Life Service/Gathering: 2 to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, November 8, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
