Danny Joe Allen, 81, Hamilton, Mo., formerly of Kidder, Mo., and Kansas City, Mo., passed away on January 7, 2018, at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Hamilton.

Danny was born on November 14, 1936, in Kansas City, Mo. He graduated from high school and then served in the Army where he engaged in special forces and learned engineering. He worked for Wilcox Electric in Kansas City doing engineering and electrical work. He was a member of the Kidder Baptist Church and a member of the VFW.

He was married to Gail Frances Morrison. She passed away in 2011. He was also preceded by his parents, daughter-Marsha, son-Danny, and 12 brothers and sisters.

Survivors: Daughter-Leslie (John) Hursman, Kidder; Grandsons-Juel Parker and Daniel Allen; Granddaughter-Jennifer Palazzolo; two other granddaughters; and 2 great-grandchildren-Noah Newsom and Krystal Ireland.

Visitation: 1:00 to 1:45 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2018, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, at the Kidder Cemetery, Kidder, Mo.

Memorials: The Kidder Baptist Church.
