Danny Joe Holcomb, 67, Kidder, Mo., passed away at his home on December 20, 2017, in Kidder.

He was born on September 1, 1950, in Cameron, Mo., to Norris and Opal (Worrell) Holcomb. Danny graduated from the Gallatin High School in 1968, moved to Kansas City, and married Susan Hartley in 1970. They later divorced. He married Debbie Kirkpatrick in 1979.

Danny enlisted in the Marines, served three years, and was in the military police attaining the rank of corporal.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-Ron Holcomb; and nephew-Chad Holcomb.

Survivors: Sons-Todd Holcomb (Carrie), Gallatin; Jason Holcomb, Kansas City, Mo.; and Uriah Holcomb, Lee's Summit, Mo.; Sister-Barbara Wilson (Jim), Gallatin; Grandchildren-Trevor, Hailey, Christopher, all of Gallatin; Keegan, Andrew, Blake, all of Lee's Summit; nephew-Joshua Wilson (Kelli), Lee's Summit; niece-Ashley Ishmael, Gallatin; Aunt-Iona Robbs, Hermosa Beach, Ca; great-niece-Shelby Wilson and great-nephew-Barrett Wilson, both of Lee's Summit; great-nephew-Payton Ishmael, Gallatin; and several cousins.

Cremation was entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, Mo.

There will be no formal services at Danny's request.
