Denise Carol Dahms, 65, Kidder, MO., passed away on August 19, 2023, at the North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, MO.  Denise moved to Kidder 30 years ago and previously lived in Avondale, MO., and Overland Park, KS.

Denise was born on September 7, 1957, to Gene and Freida (Plummer) Renner.  She earned her B.S. in Business from UMKC.  She worked for Delden Garage Doors/Manufacturing in Kansas City, MO., for 42 years and was the President of the company for the past 30 of those years.

Denise was a member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church, Hamilton, MO., and enjoyed spending time with and dearly loved her grandkids.  Being with family and friends at her home in the Lake of the Ozarks and flower gardening were also passions of hers.

Preceding Denise in death were her parents; her brother-Dennis; her sister-Dee Layne; and a niece-Staci.

On January 14, 1984, she married Steven Dahms in Pleasant Valley, MO.  He survives of the home.

Additional survivors who will also miss her very much include her two sons-William Dahms (Nicolette Whitney), Kansas City, MO.; and Steven Z. Dahms, of the home; and 6 grandchildren-Gunner, Macie, Cecilee, Addilynn, Corbin and Reece.

Celebration of Life Service:  10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Hamilton United Methodist Church.

Visitation:  6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, at the church.

Interment:  Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hamilton United Methodist Church.
