Dona Mae Ashworth's Obituary
Dona Mae Ashworth, 88, Cameron, Mo., passed away on November 21, 2014, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron.
Dona Mae was born near Nettleton, Mo., on July 28, 1926, and graduated from the Gallatin High School in 1945. She was preceded by her husband of 53 years, William J. (Cadillac) Ashworth on October 18, 2008. They had lived in Independence, Mo., before moving to Cameron, Mo., in 1990 to be near her brother Dwight McGarvin who was in poor health.
She had been an inspector at the American Can Company where she worked for 32 years and retired in 1984. She was also preceded by her parents, Thomas W. and Hazel Gaunt McGarvin; and two brothers, Dwight S. and Thomas Jr. McGarvin.
Survivors: Son, Donald R. Evans (Wife, Patricia), Holt, Mo.; two grandchildren, Michelle Smith and Elizabeth Buchholz; and two great-grandchildren, Grace and Joseph Smith.
Graveside Service & Interment: 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, at the Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, Mo.
Visitation: 1 hour prior to the service, November 25, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
