Donald Rae Ives, Sr., 80, Hamilton, MO, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on December 22, 2022, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron.

Donald was born on March 23, 1942, in Anoka, MN, to Virgil and Dorothy Oswald Ives.  He graduated from high school and then honorably served his country in the Navy for 4 years during the Cuban Missile Crisis.  Donald was a machinist and worked for many companies including the banking industry.  He was also an ordained minister for over 40 years.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and his brother, Leroy.

On January 6, 1962, he married Joan Beauregard.  She survives of the home.  He is also survived by 8 children, 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 5 siblings.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 25, 2023, in Minnesota.
