Dorothy Jeane Usher, 77, Cameron, MO, passed away on June 25, 2022, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO.  Dorothy moved to Cameron 23 years ago from Hamilton, MO., where she lived most of her life and raised her children.

Dorothy was born on December 18, 1944, in St. Joseph, MO., to Lloyd and Avanell (Hatton) Henderson.  She graduated from the Penney High School in Hamilton.  Dorothy worked for and retired from Cameron Insurance Company in Cameron.  Gardening, flowers, traveling and playing cards were hobbies Dorothy enjoyed, but especially she treasured her family and time with them.

Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents; her son, Charles Henley; and her husband, Bill Henley.

Dorothy married Richard Usher in 2011.  He survives of the home.

Additional survivors:  Children-Clifford and Mindy Henley, Hamilton; Stephanie and Jerry Hartman, Cameron; Debra and Steve Heldenbrand, Kidder, MO; and Kenneth and Polly Henley, Hamilton; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Service:  11 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO.

Interment:  Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.

Memorials:  The American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
