Ella Mae Leeper, 85, Hamilton, MO, formerly of Cowgill, MO, passed away on February 21, 2020, at Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron.

Ella was born on March 17, 1934, in Verona, MO, to Ed and Rachel Synder Brink.  She was a homemaker.  She was united in marriage to Fred Leeper on Feb. 23, 1951, in Golden, MO.  He preceded her in death.

Ella was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, daughter, brother and sister.

She was an active member of the Hamilton Baptist Church and always helped in the kitchen.  Ella loved to play BINGO, garden, sew, repair clothing for others, embroidery, solve world search puzzles, and she loved to talk and visit.  She was a hard worker, and a strong Christian who knew the Bible and took in her sister's children to raise.

Survivors:  Son, Freddie, Joplin, MO, Daughter, Alice; and numerous grandchildren.

Funeral Service:  11 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Visitation:  1 hour prior to the service, at the funeral home, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Interment:  Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill, MO.
