Frances "Fran" Martin Garland, 82, Hamilton, MO., formerly of Grant City, MO., passed away on March 15, 2025, at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Hamilton.

Fran was born in San Diego, CA., on September 26, 1942, to Martin and Geneva (Holmes) Burns.  She graduated high school in Frankfurt, Germany.  She met and married her husband, Lyndel Garland, in Germany also.  He preceded her in death as did her parents, son, Mark, and her sister, Patricia.

Fran worked as a dispatcher for the Cameron, Missouri, Police Department for a number of years.  In her spare time she enjoyed making jewelry.

Survivors who will miss her include her two sons-Lynn (Pam) Garland, Tucson, AZ., and Michael Garland, Hamilton; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO.
