James Robert Hill, 85, Hamilton, Missouri, (formerly of Kingston, Missouri)passed away on January 17, 2014, at the Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Mo.

James was born on June 19, 1928, in Mirabile, Mo., to Robbie W. and Marie (Matchett) Hill. He grew up in the Kingston and Hamilton areas. James had been employed in construction in the past and had also been a farmer.

James was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-Walter Dean Hill, Billie Hill, and Dale Hill; and a sister, Dorothy Hill.

James married Helen Loveless on July 15, 1946, in Kansas. They were married 67 years, and she survives of the home.

Funeral Service: 10 a.m., Monday, January 20, at the Hamilton United Methodist Church Sanctuary.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, January 19, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Interment: Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Caldwell County Foundation Cancer Assistance Fund.
