Jerry Don Fields, 35, Cowgill, Missouri, passed away on September 12, 2012, at the North Kanas City Hospital, North Kansas City, Mo.

Jerry was born on September 21, 1976, in Emporia, Kansas, to Jerry Norman Fields and Darla Kay Everhart Cope. He was a 1994 graduate of the Polo, Mo., High School. He then served our country for four years in the United States Army. He had worked as a self-employed carpenter.

Jerry was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Dean Everhart.

Survivors: Parents, Darla and Allen Cope, Cowgill; Brothers, Clinton (Samantha) Everhart, Branson, Mo.; and Chad (Nicole) Cope, Polo, Mo.; Sister, Carrie (Robert) Mitten, Kirksville, Mo.; Grandmother, Darlene Everhart, Cowgill, Mo.; Aunts and Unles, Janette and Kenneth Turner, Greenwood, Mo.; Martin and Carol Brown, Lathrop, Mo.; Steve and Vicki Everhart, Yucca Valley, Ca; and Jennifer Everhart and Hung Ngo, Kansas City, Mo.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Service: 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the Hopewell Baptist Church, Cowgill, Missouri. Memorials: The American Heart Association. Arrangements: Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
