Judith Thornton, 69, Hamilton Missouri formerly of Independence Mo. passed away on May 23 2010 at the Centerpoint Medical Center Independence. She had been a homemaker.Judy was born on September 18 1940 in Kansas City Mo. to Robert A. and Pauline Morgan DeVaul. She was raised in Kidder Mo. and was a 1957 Kidder high school graduate. She had lived in Independence for 34 years before moving to Hamilton five years ago.Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brother Larry Nesbitt; and sister Yvonne Miller.On September 27 1958 she married George W. Thornton Jr. in Miami Oklahoma.
