Julie Christine Farnsworth, 53, Polo, Mo., passed away on November 24, 2013, at her residence.

Julie was born on July 4, 1960, in Davenport, Iowa, to Harold D. Farnsworth and Patricia Douglas. She was raised and graduated from high school in Iowa. She had worked as a police dispatcher in St. Joseph, Mo., had been a supervisor for USA 800 Communications, and had most recently volunteered as a trustee for Hideaway Lakes, Polo, Mo.

Julie was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors: Mother, Pat Douglas, Hamilton; Son, Jesse Dean Farnsworth, St. Joseph; Sister, Eva Deann Farnsworth, Davenport, Ia; and two Half-Sisters, Erin Farnsworth, Boonville, Mo., and Corey Farnsworth.

The body has been cremated. There are no formal services planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, Mo.
