Kathy "Katie" Ann Munroe, 65, Hamilton, MO., passed away at her home surrounded by family on March 15, 2024.  She moved to Hamilton in 1998 and previously lived in Kingston, MO.

Katie was born on August 5, 1958, in Kansas City, MO., to Wilbur and Dolores (Amos) Cole.  She graduated from the Southwest High School, in Ludlow, MO., in 1977.  She attended Vatterott College and earned her certification for Med Tech.  She worked as a Med Tech for 20 years at the Cameron Group Care in Cameron, MO.  She also worked in the past at The Hamilton Bank, Hamilton, and for the Hamilton R-II School District as a cook.

In her spare time, Katie enjoyed going on road trips through the country, golf, league bowling, flowers, fishing, and sunsets.  She loved her son and grandchildren very much.

She married Rick Munroe in 1998 and he preceded her in death.  Katie was also preceded in death by her parents, niece-Mandy Adrian, and nephew-Scott Adrian.

Survivors include her son-Kelly (Kayden) Cole, Hamilton; 6 grandchildren-Tessa Hockaday, Hali Allred, Kimber, Calvary,  Jase and Liam Cole; her significant-other-David Arnold; and siblings-Sue Cole, Chillicothe, MO.; Dee Lavo, Tempe, AZ; and Jack Adrian, Cameron, MO.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Katie's wishes were to have a private family service/celebration to be held at a later date.
