Leona Lea Puckett, 100, Hamilton, Missouri, passed away on November 26, 2014, in Hamilton at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home.

Leona was born on July 13, 1914, in Union Star, Mo. to Lee and Lelia Bottorff Abbott. She had attended school at the Wyandotte and Horseman Schools in Kansas City, Kansas.

Leona married Vaughn Puckett on February 1, 1932, in Hamilton. She had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Kingston Federated Church and the Spring Hill Women's Club.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Bonnie Gale.

Survivors: Three sons-Charles, Raymond, and Ronnie Puckett, all of Hamilton; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two nephews; two nieces; and a sister-in-law, Rosie Puckett.

Funeral: 1 p.m., Saturday, November 29, at the Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Interment: Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.

There is no formal scheduled visitation, but friends may call after 9 a.m., on Saturday.
