Margaret Ann Shuman, 63, Hamilton, MO, passed away on July 27, 2022, at her residence in Hamilton.  She moved to Hamilton 3 1/2 years ago from Utah where she was born, raised, and lived most of her life.

Margaret was born on January 28, 1959, in South Jordan, Utah, to Kenneth R. and Martha Billie (Jones) Peck.  She earned her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Medical Science.  She worked as a medical assistant for a dermatology clinic in Utah.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Cameron, MO.  Margaret worked with primary children at the church and she and her husband, Raymond, were very active with temple work.

She and Raymond L. Shuman, Jr., were married on August 19, 1977, in Salt Lake City at the LDS Temple.  Ray preceded her in death in 2020.  She married Jay Palmer on September 30, 2021.

Margaret was also preceded in death by her mother, and her brother, Kevin Peck.

Survivors:  Father-Ken Peck, South Jordan, Utah; Children-Tiffani (Jarrin) Perry, Hamilton; Raymond L. Shuman, III (Jackie), South Jordan, Utah; Melanie (Matt) Woodruff, Gunnison, Utah; and  Jared (Michelle) Shuman,  Hamilton; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; Sister-Erica East, Idaho; Brother-Kenny Peck, Utah; and Sister-Billie-Joe Grundman, Utah; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service:  10 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1100 E. Grand Ave., Cameron, MO.

Interment:  The Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, southeast of Hamilton.

There is no formal visitation or viewing.
