Marguerite Stewart, 92, Gower Missouri formerly of Hamilton Mo. and Daviess County passed away on August 22 2011 at the Gower Convalescent Center.Marguerite was born on January 6 1919 in Hamilton Missouri to Raymond and Blanche Alden Shartzer. She was a 1937 Hamilton High School graduate. She was a past member of the Prairie View Methodist Church north of Hamilton.On November 7 1937 she married Glen L. Stewart in Hamilton. He preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded by her parents; and three brothers Kenneth and Richard Shartzer and Raymond who died in infancy.Survivors: Daughter and Son-in-Law Mary Lou and Dick Veraguth St. Joseph Mo.; Grandchildren Jim and Michelle Veraguth Savannah Mo.; John and Carol Veraguth St. Joseph; Jeff and Lynann Veraguth St. Joseph; and Jeannette and J.W. Stookey Leesburg Indiana; four great-grandchildren Josh Jourdan Hayden and Hailey; Sister-in-law Billie Schartzer Cameron Mo.; and nieces and nephews.Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Friday August 26 2011 at Bram Funeral Home Hamilton.Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.Interment: Highland Cemetery Hamilton.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gower Convalescent Center.Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday.   Bram Funeral Services
