Ma Dick, 93, Hamilton Missouri passed away March 11 2010 at Liberty Terrace Liberty Missouri. She was born March 23 1916 in Frazer Kentucky to Ozias Thomas Ryan Burnett and Minnie Maude (Hurt) Burnett.  Mary attended elementary school there and graduated from Monticello High School in May 1934 as class valedictorian.  After attending Lindsey Wilson College at Columbia Kentucky she taught grades 1-3 at a small Wayne County KY elementary school. On February 8 1936 Mary Burnett and Edward Rankin Dick of Mill Springs Kentucky were united in marriage.  The family moved to Missouri in the late 1940's.  Mary was a member of the Monticello First Baptist Church and transferred her membership to the First Baptist Church Hamilton where she remained a faithful member. Those who preceded her in death include:  parents; husband; sister Mae B. Gibson; brothers Edgar Hugh and Ray; daughter Twyla June Shay; and granddaughter Carey Lynn Utt. Mary's survivors include:  son Benton B. (Linda) Dick Kansas City Mo.; three daughters Wanda R. (Bob) Johnson Kansas City Mo.; Maude K. Utt Excelsior Springs Mo.; and Theresa M. (Ron) Ford Gallatin Mo; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
