Mary Gibson, 92, Hamilton Missouri died Thursday March 3 2011 at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home. She was born June 3 1918 in Kidder Mo. the daughter of Lee Ellis Curp and Mary Amanda Potts Curp.On October 2 1940 Mary was married to Harold Pittman Gibson and they made their home north of Hamilton. A 1935 graduate of Cameron High School Mary was employed by the Caldwell County ASCS office in Kingston Mo. for 41 years followed by 20 years at Esry's IGA in Hamilton. She along with her sister Rita Chadwick also owned and operated Marita Catering.Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 78 years and its altar society and the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association.Mary was preceded in death by her parents her husband her infant brother John and sisters Rose Lee Walker and Helen Roling.Mary is survived by one brother Richard Curp Memphis TN; two sisters Lois Pihart Rochester MN and Rita Chadwick Hamilton; and 26 nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday March 7 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hamilton at 10 a.m. with Fr. Bob Rost officiating.Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday March 6 at the church with the Rosary Service beginning at 6 p.m.Interment: Highland Cemetery Hamilton.Memorials: The Sacred Heart Catholic Church 205 E.
