Mary Jayne Pelton, 80, Hamilton, MO, passed away on March 13, 2021, at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Hamilton.  She was born in the New York Township of Caldwell County, MO, on July 23, 1940, to Edward L. and Dorothy O. (Basham) Stone, and lived in the county all of her life.

Mary attended elementary school at the New York School, SE of Hamilton, and then attended and graduated high school from the Breckenridge, MO, high school.  She owned Skywire Kennels in Hamilton since 1989, and also worked as a receptionist and bookkeeper for Harmon Glass in Cameron, MO, for over twenty years.

She was baptized in the Church of Christ and in the past attended the Hamilton Federated Church.  She loved her dogs and enjoyed reading.

Mary married Bill Rauber on July 18, 1959, and to this union one son was born.  She married Jim Pelton on November 30, 1979.  She was preceded in death by both of her husbands; her parents; two brothers-Johnny and Jimmy Stone; and a grandson-Clayton Rauber.

Survivors:  Son-Eddie (Brenda) Rauber, Kidder; 4 grandchildren-Josh Rauber, Matt (Rachel) Rauber, Ariel Rauber, and Jordan Rauber; 3 great-grandchildren-Destiny Reed-Rauber, Kaleb Rauber and Gracie Rauber; 1 soon-to-be great-great-grandchild; 3 nephews-Harlon, Ronald and Billy Stone; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

A family graveside inurnment service will be held at a later date at the Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.
