Max D. Egbert, 82, Cameron, Mo., passed away on December 9, 2016, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron, Mo.
Max was born on May 27, 1934, in Burlington Junction, Mo., to Harry L. and Ethel F. Clark Egbert. He was a graduate of the Mound City, Mo., high school. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Max worked for over 30 years as the store manager for My Store in Cameron, Mo.
Max was married to LaVona M. Stepp. She preceded him in death. His parents and 6 brothers also preceded him.
Survivors: Sons-Bob (Sherry) Egbert, Osborn, Mo., and Max Scott (Malligah) Egbert, Malaysia; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Cameron.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Inurnment: The Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, Higginsville, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cameron Elk's Lodge in care of the funeral home.
