Michael D. Parman, 55, Lathrop, Mo., formerly of Orrick, Mo., passed away on Mar 11, 2016, as the result of a car accident.

Michael was born on May 9, 1961, in Excelsior Springs, Mo., to Raymond "Buck" and Mary Meek Parman. He graduated from the Lathrop High School in 1979, and then earned his Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees. He had served our country and retired from the Air Force as a military policeman. He had been employed at BT-SGI as a private federal security officer.

Michael was a member of the Lathrop First Baptist Church. He had moved back to Lathrop after he had retired from the military.

Michael was preceded in death by his father; brother-Johnnie Bob; and two nephews-Johnnie Ray and Michael William.

Survivors: Two sons-Robert Michael and Matthew Raymond Parman; Mother-Mary Parman, Lathrop; Brother-Andy Parman, Union Star, Mo.; Sister-Tammy Parman, Lathrop; Niece-Amber Clary and Nephew-Jacob Parman.

Funeral Service: 2 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at the Lathrop First Baptist Church.

Visitation: 12:30 p.m., until service time on May 14 at the church.

Interment: The Lathrop Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans in care of the funeral home.
