Mitchell Evan Maddox, 37, of Kansas City, MO., passed away May 8, 2023, after an extended illness.

Mitchell graduated from the Penney High School and later attended North Central Missouri College in Trenton, MO.  He worked in a variety of capacities throughout his career mostly in the food service industry.  Mitchell loved working with the public.  He was always sharing how fulfilled he felt in giving a word of encouragement or bringing a smile to someone's face.

He was preceded in his passing by his brother, Dustin Ray Maddox; and his mother, Vera Jo (Jodi) Maddox.

Mitchell is survived by his son, Evan, of Hampton, Tennessee; his father, Gary Maddox of Stavropol, Russia; sisters, Christina McElwee-Lybarger of Chillicothe, MO., and Elizabeth Maddox-Owens of Springfield, MO.; aunts, Carol Maddox of Lee's Summit, MO., and Marilyn Allison of Edwards, MO.

Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO., has been entrusted with handling the funeral interment and cremation arrangements.  There will be a short graveside service at the Wells of Joy Cemetery, 4251 NE State Route U, Hamilton, MO., on May 25, 2023, at 1 p.n.
