Nelle Kathleen Scott, 85, Hamilton, Missouri, passed away on May 16, 2013.

Nelle was born on May 7, 1928, to Leonard and Elizabeth Snyder in Caldwell County, Missouri. She was a 1946 Hamilton High School graduate. She married Dale Scott on December 28, 1947, in Hamilton, and worked with him through a career at Western Auto, True Value, and Scott Chevrolet-all the while being a mother to her children.

She lived a life of servanthood and loved all people, pointing many people to our Savior Jesus Christ, many times through her actions rather than words. She will be greatly missed by many, but is enjoying wonderful fellowship with her Lord today and forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Betty Curp and Lois McCrary; and brother, Ned Snyder.

Survivors: Daughter, Anita (Gary) Henry, Hamilton; Son, Mark (Marcy) Scott, Halfway, Mo.; four grandchildren, Adam (Meggan) Henry, Dane (Jessica) Scott, Reid Scott, and Alex Scott; and two great-grandsons, Gage Scott and Isaac Henry.

The body has been cremated as she has shed her Earthly tent.
Celebration of Her Life Service: 5 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the Hamilton United Methodist Family Life Center.

Visitation: 4 to 5 p.m, at the church, just one hour prior to the service.

Inurnment at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.
