Philip Andrew Thompson was born on April 4, 1973, to Alison W. Calton and Craig K. Thompson in Louisville, KY.  His adventure ended on May 27, 2025.  He grew up in Springfield, MO, attending Glendale High School and Southwest Missouri State.  His early career started as a consultant at Sunbelt Environmental but he ultimately spent his time becoming the best bartender around!  He worked in many bars, restaurants, and beaches in Florida before returning to Missouri.  He loved meeting people and could talk sports, politics, religion, or the weather with ease!  He especially loved talking history with anyone who would listen.  He had a giving heart, a great laugh, and always believed that everyone had a fascinating life story.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alison Calton, and his step-father Neal Calton, his father Craig K. Thompson, and his brother, Craig L. Thonpson.

He is survived by his life-time love and fiance Melissa McCullough and her children Kincade, Kyndal, and Kulley Christman of Springfield, MO; sister Amy (Kent) Miller, Kidder, MO; niece Kenna Miller and nephews Isac Bales-Rodriguez and Jacob Miller of Kidder, MO; twin brother Stuart Thompson of Springfield, MO; brother Josh (Shannon) Calton and their son Malcolm of Springfield, MO; sisters Jennifer Thompson of Cookeville, TN; and Schuyler Thompson of Lake Worth, FL.

Philip will be cremated (his last chance for a smoking hot bod) and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  His request would be for a random act of kindness to be performed in his memory as he had many kindnesses randomly given to him.
