Ray Lee Johnson, 61, Hamilton, MO, passed away on July 29, 2022, at his residence.  He moved to Hamilton in 2000 from Polo, MO.

Ray was born on October 3, 1960, in North Kansas City, MO, to Donald L. and Mildred (Hunt) Johnson.  He graduated from the Polo High School in 1979.  He previously also lived in Gladstone, MO.

Ray worked for the Steelworkers Union and was a member of the Teamsters for years.  He also worked for Sealy Mattress and AVCO Construction.  He loved to hunt and spend time with his family and friends.

Ray was united in marriage for Jennifer F. (Snow) Johnson on October 3, 1980, and they later divorced.  She survives of the home.

Preceding Ray in death---his daughter, Erin Leigh Johnson; grandson, Timothy Lee Johnson; his parents; and two sisters-Kimberla Gardner and Carolyn Leimkuhler.

Survivors:  Children-Jason Johnson, Hamilton; Shelley Breshears (Duane), Kingston; Karen James (Billy), Gallatin; Cheyenne Johnson, Hamilton; and Shelby Johnson, Hamilton; Sisters-Kellie Pulliam (Terry), Hamilton; and Melissa Vanderpool (Travis), Avondale, MO; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

Funeral Service:  10 a.m., Friday, August 5, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Visitation:  6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, August 4, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Interment:  Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill, MO.
