Robert D. Howe, Sr., 88, Chillicothe, MO., passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at his home.

Bob was born at Mountain View, MO.  He married Barbara Jean Hockman in July of 1954.  She passed away in February of 2003, and he then married now deceased Charlotte Edmunson.  Bob retired with 30 years of service at Ford Motor Company.  He was a hard-working, family man.  In his spare time, his favorite things to do were fish, woodworking, spending time with his family, and he loved to watch Royals baseball.

Bob is survived by his son, Robert Howe, Jr., and wife, Donna Marie Howe of Hamilton; daughter, Pamela Sue Scott of Chillicothe; his beloved brother, Tom Howe of Breckenridge; grandchildren-Mandy Peniston (husband Bob) of Chillicothe, Becky Bowen (husband Jason) of Hamilton, Peggy Marie Howe of Topeka, KS., and Josh Scott (wife Leanna) of Spring Hill; great-grandchildren-Ryan Smith, Columbia, MO.; Gracie Smith, Chillicothe; Ian Smith, Chillicothe; Trent Peniston, Trevor Peniston and Taylor Peniston of Chillicothe; Chase Bowen of  Hamilton; Macy Scott and Titus Scott of Spring Hill; Kimber Wilson of Overland Park; Kara Shamp (husband Aaron) of Hamilton; and great-great-grandchild-Sadie June Shamp of Hamilton.

There will be no formal services held and the family will have a private graveside service at a later date.
