Rusty "Russ" Lee Monchil, 55, Cameron, MO, passed away on October 2, 2026.

Russ was born on March 22, 1971, in North Kansas City, MO, to George and Sheila (Bye) Monchil.  He was employed at Park 'N Go near the  Kansas City International Airport, Kansas City, MO.

Russ enjoyed spending time with his sons and his family, and raising and admiring his longhorn cattle and sheep. Russ also loved dogs and took the family dog, Pepper, with him whenever he could. He was very friendly and enjoyed visiting with people.  Russ will be missed by his family and friends.

On May 2, 2004, he married Tracy Davis in Cameron, MO.  She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include his two sons-Connor and Jaiden; his mother-in-law, Nancy Quast, Lakeside, CA; his father, George Monchil, Lathrop, MO; his mother, Sheila (Gary) Smith, Florida; his brothers, Ryan Smith, Corey Smith and Christopher Smith; grandmother, Sophia Monchil;  his uncles, Larry (Loree) Monchil, Florida, and Don Monchil, North Kansas City, MO; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Rusty's wish was that no formal funeral services be held.  Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO.
