Stephanie Sue (Henry) Cook, 60, Hamilton, MO, passed at her home on November 17, 2022.  Stephanie lived in Hamilton most of her life, and she grew up and attended elementary school in Kingston, MO.

Stephanie was born on September 21, 1962, in Cameron, MO, to Larry and Anita Kay (Otto) Henry.  She graduated from Penney High School, Hamilton, in 1980.  Stephanie was a homemaker and also worked in Hamilton in the past at the Stride Rite Shoe Factory and as a cook for the school and a few restaurants.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, being on the go with her husband, Junior, and going with him to his activities, and visiting and talking to people wherever she went.  She was also active with the Lakeview Golf Course and was a past treasurer for the course.

Preceding Stephanie in death were her parents and her son, Michael Scott Cook.

She married James L. (Junior) Cook on February 14, 1981, at the United Methodist Church in Hamilton.  Junior survives of the home.

Additional survivors:  Children-Matt Cook (Bobbie), Hamilton; Kimberly Cook, Hamilton; Shawn Cook (Kelsey Shelton), Independence, MO; 5 grandchildren-Ryan Cook, Mason Cook, Abbie Cook, Molly Brown, Mirabelle Brown; 2 brothers-Brent Henry (Susan), Cameron, MO; and Brian Henry, Hamilton; and 2 nephews-Blake and Seth Henry.

Celebration of Life:  10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Hamilton Baptist Church.

Visitation:  Monday evening, November 21, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at the Hamilton Baptist Church.

Interment:  Highland Cemetery,  Hamilton.

Memorials may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital in her memory.
