Viola J. Rhoades, 78, Hamilton, Mo., passed away on June 22, 2018, at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Hamilton.

Viola was born on June 2, 1940, in Bosworth, Mo., to Ramos and Opal (Lightfoot) Routon.  She worked at the Stride Rite Shoe Factory in Hamilton and then worked for Midwest Glove in Hamilton as a packager and retired in 2015.

She married Landon Rhoades in Nebraska on September 18, 1955.  He preceded her in death.

Viola was also preceded by her parents and her son, David.

Survivors:  Daughters-Joyce (James) Diven, Hamilton; and Theresa (Doug) Smith, Richmond, Mo.; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister-Thelma (Bud) Cluck, Kansas City, Mo.

Funeral Service:  11 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Visitation:  1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 10 to 11 a.m.

Interment:  Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
