William "Bill" H. Poole, 78, Cameron, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, and Cherryvale, Kansas, passed away on April 22, 2012, in Cameron. He had worked in the past as a tree trimmer for various companies and had also been self-employed. Bill was also co-owner of A & J Poole and Sons Mobile Mechanics LLC of Cameron.

Bill was born on October 9, 1933, in East Prairie, Missouri, to John and Lottie Oliver Poole. He had served our country during the Korean War in the Air Force. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Son, Clifton R. Poole; and two brothers, Gene and Johnny Ray Poole, Jr.

Survivors: Daughter, Debra Barnett, Eustis, Florida; Sons, Rex Poole, St. Mary's, Kansas, and Jeff Poole, Cameron; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Gordon, New Orleans, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The body has been cremated. The family will hold private services at a later date in Cherryvale, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements: Brown Funeral Home, Cameron, Mo.
