Sherria M. Sloan, 79, Cameron, MO., passed away on May 2, 2026.

Sherria was born at home in Leachville, Arkansas, on August 4, 1946, to Jewel and Ruth Oates.

Besides being preceded in death by her husband, Darrell, and her son, Darrell II, Sherria was also preceded by her parents, her sister, Barbara King, and her brother, Gary Oates.

Sherria leaves behind children-Charlotte Cuellar, Sherrie Ballard, Laura Sargent and JB Sloan; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and siblings-Ronnie Oates, Terry Oates and Teresa Bozeman.

Sherria was an active member of her church and her community.  She volunteered at the soup kitchen and with the homeless.  She also loved to travel and take new adventures.  Just recently she worked as a healthcare provider for hospice and private care.  She was a very compassionate, caring and loving person and will truly be missed by all.

Graveside Service:  Monday, May 11, 2026, at 11 a.m., at the Mirabile Cemetery, Mirabile, MO.
